Not at all fast for his size and without any other physical assets that you might expect to find in a quality footballer, Caff was never-the-less a ball magnet.
He controlled one wing for Chelsea for many years. Seldom caught out of position, he always provided a sure passage down the ground and he was rarely beaten in a contest as he had that unique ability to create space to become balanced while disposing of the ball.
