Joined The Club in 2003. David came from a Rugby background but had adapted well to AFL Football and immediately found his place at Chelsea as a Key Defender, holding down the Full Back position for many seasons. Strong and aggressive, fearless in the air, he was a staunch defender who made it difficult for his opponents. He was also versatile and capable of playing forward where on many occasions he was able to contribute by kicking goals when needed.
