Goals: BRIDGET RYAN 26. ABBY WILLIAMS 8. BECK GRAHAM 5

Best: JESSICA TRUMP, TADI KAHONDE, ABBY WILLIAMS, BAYLEY WELLS

Match Report:
LOST 46-84. THIS WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE A TOUHG GAME WITH 4 PLAYERS MISSING FROM THE TEAM THIS WEEK AND SOMERVILLE SITTING TOP OF THE LADDER UNDEFEATED. THE GIRLS STARTED REALLY WELL AND WERE EVEN IN THE FIRST QUARTER AS THEY CAME OUT WITH GREAT ENERGY AND GREAT DETERMINATION. SOMERVILLE CAME OUT AND DOMINATED THE SECOND QUARTER WHICH MADE IT HARD TO CATCH UP. I WAS SUPER PROUD HOW THE GIRLS DID NOT DROP THEIR HEADS AND KEPT FIGHTING. IF THE SCOREBOARD WASNT THERE YOU WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN SOMERVILLE WERE UP. WE THEN WENT ON TO WIN THE LAST QUARTER. JESSICA TRUMP & TADI KAHONDES PERFORMANCE AND HOW THEY COMBINED TOGETHER WAS THE STAND OUT THIS WEEK. THEY SMILED, ENJOYED THE GAME AND LIFTED EACH OTHER UP WHEN IT COULD HAVE BEEN REALLY EASY TO DROP THEIR HEADS AGAINST WHAT SEEMED LIKE AN ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TASK. LADDER - 5TH

Goals: BECK GRAHAM 24. BECCA CAMERON 20

Best: LIZZIE WARDLAW, MICHELLE HYNDMAN, JENNA HOWE, GEMMA ZIINO.

Match Report:
WON 48-38 THIS MATCH WAS ALWAYS SET TO BE A RIPPER WITH SOMERVILLE SITTING 3RD ON THE LADDER AND ALWAYS TOUGH OPPOSITION. FOR THE ENTIRE GAME IT WAS CLOSE AND COULD HAVE GONE EITHER WAY WITH JUST A COUPLE OF GOALS IN IT THE ENTIRE TIME. BOTH TEAMS WERE PRETTY EVENLY MATCHED ACROSS THE COURT, HOWEVER OUR FITNESS AND ABILITY TO RUN OUT A GAME PROVED TOO MUCH FOR SOMERVILLE WHO LOOKED TIRED. THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE GAMES WHERE IT WAS A CASE OF MINIMAL CHANGES IF ITS WORKING ON COURT, AND PLEASINGLY EVERYONE CONTRIBUTED TO THE WIN DUE TO THE DEPTH WE HAVE IN THE TEAM. LIZZIE WARDLAW HAD A STAND OUT PERFORMANCE AND REALLY STEPPED UP DESPITE BLISTERS AND FATIGUE. MICHELLE HYNDMAN KEPT FIGHTING ALL GAME AND GAVE EVERYTHING SHE HAD DESPITE SICKNESS WHILE JENNA HOWE HAD A RIPPER IN HER 50TH GAME ALSO. LADDER - 1ST

Goals: BRIANNA ROOTH 19. STEPH HENSON 13. TAYLA INGRAM 6

Best: MEG CAWLEY, BRIANNA ROOTH, ABBY WALLACE, SHAY CHAPMAN

Match Report:
WON 38-36. C GRADE TOOK ON THE TOP OF THE LADDER SIDE AND PLAYED PROBABLY THE BEST GAME THEY HAVE ALL SEASON. THEYVE REALLY BUILT OVER THE LAST 3 WEEKS TO FIND THEIR FORM AND MAKE SOME GREAT CONNECTIONS. WHATS REALLY IMPRESSIVE ABOUT HOW THE C GRADE TEAM PLAYED, DESPITE THE NUMBER OF ROTATIONS WITH ALL PLAYERS BEING AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME, THEY ALL ADAPTED AND EACH PERSON JUST PLAYED THEIR ROLE. THEY WERE COOL, CALM AND COLLECTED AND MANAGED TO KEEP CONTROL OF THE GAME AS IT WAS A ABSOLUTE NAIL BITER. HUGE WIN AND REALLY PROUD OF THE TEAM. BRIANNA ROOTH SHOT AMAZINGLY , WHILE MEG CAWLEY REALLY STOOD UP IN DEFENCE AND ABBY WALLACE PLAYED A REALLY SETTLED GAME. LADDER - 4TH

Match Report:
WON 37-11. HUGE WIN BY THE D GRADE TEAM AND THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER EVERY SINGLE WEEK. THE D GRADE GIRLS HAD FULL CONTROL THE ENTIRE GAME AND NEVER LOOKED FLUSTERED. THE DEFENSIVE PRESSURE FROM EVERYONE WAS AWESOME. STEPH AARSMAN WAS GREAT IN DEFENCE AND GOT LOTS OF TURNOVERS AT THE TRANSVERSE LINE, WHILE PAISLEY SMITH WAS PATIENT AND FED THE BALL REALLY NICELY INTO THE SHOOTERS. KEEP WORKING HARD GIRLS, YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE. LADDER- 1ST.

Goals: AYLA SCHERWINSKI 9. TESS WOOLLEY 6. JESS WILKINSON 2

Best: SIENNA KOOP, TAMSIN WESTON, TILLY PHILLPOTTS, DARCY KELLY.

Match Report:
LOST 17-32. UNDER 17S HAD A TOUGH TASK AHEAD OF THEM TAKING ON THE UNDEFEATED TOP OF THE LADDER EAGLES. THEY STARTED A LITTLE SLOW WHICH MEANT WE WERE PLAYING CATCH UP THE ENTIRE GAME, THIS MADE IT DIFFICULT TO CLAW BACK SOMERVILLES LEAD. THE TEAM HOWEVER PLAYED A REALLY SOLID GAME AND IMPROVED SIGNIFICANTLY ON THEIR FORWARD DRIVES AND TRANSITION FROM DEFENSE TO ATTACK. THEY APPLIED STRONG HANDS OVER PRESSURE ALL ACROSS THE COURT AND REALLY COMMITTED UP THEIR DEFENSIVE EFFORT. A GREAT GAME BY TILLY PHILLPOTTS WHOSE SECOND,THIRD & FOURTH EFFORTS WERE AMAZING AND REALLY INSPIRED THE TEAM. TAMSIN WESTON REALLY LEAD THE TEAM WELL DOMINATING IN DEFENSE AND THE MID COURT. GREAT EFFORT GIRLS IN A TOUGH GAME. LADDER - 2ND
